Kahun with Sid and Jake to start camp. I think GMJR and Sully might have had a plan for this guy.

If both Tanev and Kahun manage to stick in the top 6 then the forward depth is really special this year. The trickle down effect from that would be amazing.

We'll see what happens....those are big ifs to me right now.

I was really hoping for good things from Bellerive but he seems to stand out less and less when I see him play. In the 2 prospect games I saw this year he's just doesn't stand out. Hopefully he can put it together in WBS.

Tanev is an interesting one.

If Geno wants a guy to get the puck from defenders and create some space I think he's a good fit. Just don't look for him to finesse passes or pick corners. Kinda of like a lesser skilled but faster Dupuis.

Can't imagine it would be a bad thing for both Sid and Geno to finally settle down into some regular linemates at this point in their careers... seems like it's been a tough fit for them for so long now, with Jake being the only regular. First glance I like:

I was seriously about type nearly the exact same thing. It's one thing to have one player on his line that sucks a defense, but at least that player (Kessel) made it up for in many different ways, but to have two players who suck at defense and collectively MIGHT add up to the same points as Kessel? Yeah, no.

I think Galch is very likely to begin the season with Malkin, but hopefully they balance out that line properly .

Galch as been injected into a high caliber winning culture team and is in a contract year. He's going to want the next contract to be huge. Gives me a little hope of elevated play and production.

Ok, does he suck? No, but he's not great and a lot of those defense stats originally shown were cherry-picked.

I know a few people posted the fancies that showed his poor defensive play, but unfortunately I don't have time to search at the moment.
